Sliding Gates Range

To achieve the optimum sliding gates solution for any site, it will inevitably mean at least an element of bespoke design. This is beacuse the number of variables is almost endless, such as gate size, finish and the level of security required. As a start point though, we separate our sliding gates into six main types:

Pro-Glide Series 10 (Cantilever & Tracked)
Pro-Glide Series 20 (Cantilever & Tracked)
Pro-Glide Series 30 (Cantilever & Tracked)

In an operational sense, all our gates are of equivalent quality. So a Series 10 Pro-glide Cantilever gate will work just as smoothly and efficiently as a Series 30 Pro-glide Cantilever sliding entrance gate. The differences between series 10, 20 and 30 are about aesthetic design, added features and the level of bespoke design and construction.

For all three series and aside from whether cantilever or tracked is most appropriate (see guidance notes below), the usual basic variables would be:
  • Height
  • Width and opening
  • Material infill - e.g. palisade, balustrade, mesh, ornamental etc.
  • Whether or not a personnel access hinged gate is incorporated
  • Whether or not automation is needed
  • Access control options required
  • Finish and colour
The main differences between series 10, 20 and 30 are:

Pro-glide Series 10

Although this is our entry level gate, its quality and operation function is just the same as the Series 20 and 30 gates.

The design detail is the main difference for Series 10 Pro-glide gates, as the gate has very much a functional and straightforward appearance.

The technical specification is as follows:
  • Robust steel hollow section steel frame
  • Hollow section guide posts
  • Guide post frame infilled with heavy duty welded mesh and sheet metal panels
  • Choice of gate frame infill material including heavy-duty welded mesh, palisade or vertical bars
  • Full set of safety features including safe-edges, photocells, warning light etc
  • Inset operator control panel
  • Customer branding options between the guideposts
  • Optional matching personnel access gate

Pro-glide Series 20

Series 20 Pro-glide gates are immediately recognisable by their distinctive styling and specifically the chevron detail at the top of the vertical posts.

The technical specification is as follows (these all as the Series 10):
  • Robust steel hollow section steel frame
  • Circular hollow section guide posts
  • Guide post frame infilled with attractive profiled sheet metal panels
  • Choice of gate frame infill material including heavy-duty welded mesh, palisade or vertical bars
  • Full set of safety features including safe-edges, photocells, warning light etc
  • Inset opeator control panel
  • Customer branding options between the guideposts and on the panel at the leading edge of the gate
  • Optional matching personnel access gate
The design details the Series 20 has over the Series 10 are:
  • Distinctive heavy-duty splayed guide posts
  • Profiled fascia design with intergral warning light and motor cover
  • Inset operator control panel with light
  • Customer branding options between the guideposts and on the gate leading edge panel

Pro-Glide Series 30

The Series 30 Pro-glide gate allows for complete customisation to our customer's aesthetic specification. For example, this might include design details which have synergy with architectural features of the building the sliding gates are protecting. Numerous corporate branding options are available to display the brand identity of the site owner.

Technical specification is normally as per the Series 20, but can also be further enhanced if required.
